Our History

Oakridge Conveyancers was established in 1994 by Tania Fitzpatrick. The business has grown over the years and we now have a very successful team with our registered conveyancers who through continued education have attained their “CPC” qualification.

Tanya Sprules is now the new owner and is looking forward to continuing the legacy of a family run business.

We have a long standing relationship with Agents, Finance Brokers and Past Client in the South.

Clearance certificates for Australian residents

As of the 1 January 2025, All Australian residents (for tax purposes) selling or disposing of Australian real property (property) must have a clearance certificate and provide it to the purchaser at, or before settlement.

Without a clearance certificate, the purchaser must withhold up to 15% of the sale (or market value if not sold at arm's length) for foreign resident capital gains withholding (FRCGW) purposes.
